Our Story

Pingo Pongo launched in 2018, with a view to provide a platform for children where the curation promoted learning through play. We are a family run business, with a small friendly team who we see as family helping us along the way. The name of the store derived from the nicknames of two of my children, Pingo (Mahi) and Pongo (Sachi).

One of the main reasons that I chose to pursue Pingo Pongo was to create a space that had both children and parents in mind.  Each item from the collection is selected with a learning aspect, in a way that children won’t always realise that they are learning and also items that parents are happy to have in their home. I have opted for a traditional take on toys, with very little battery powered toys to encourage creativity and imagination to be at the forefront of a child's learning journey.

Inspiration for Pingo Pongo was taken from our children’s growth and when advising clients we are very honest about what we found useful as parents for each stage of development and recognise that every child is different. 

Our Chelsea based store is home to over 90 brands, thank you for coming to visit our site as we start to grow our online presence too.
